William Ko — Data Engineer at Amazon, London UK
I had the pleasure of working with Nadja when she was the senior manager responsible for leading our Learning and Development (L&D) initiative for finance professionals at Procter & Gamble UK. Although we succeeded in developing ad hoc training programmes and learning material to members of our community, we encountered several challenges with securing high and consistent level of engagement for our initiatives, as well as a clearly defined set of goals and key milestones with which to measure evaluate our collective successes – this changed dramatically once Nadja joined and led our team.
Working backwards from envisioning what success would look like, Nadja partnered with each member within our committee to understand better i) our personal motivations for participating in L&D endeavours; ii) what we believed the goals of L&D should strive towards; and iii) how we could leverage our unique strengths and interests in pursuit of these initiatives. I was most impressed by her enthusiasm, patience, and understanding in what made each individual within our team ‚tick‘, while simultaneously envisioning how this knowledge could result in actionable work streams that my colleagues and I could execute with both enthusiasm and ease.
Her contributions were essential towards the creation of a detailed L&D annual curriculum for the entire UK finance team, significantly higher participation and positive reviews for L&D programmes, and the reapplication of our material across other countries – achievements which culminated in a P&G EU-level award for Building the Organisation.
I would highly recommend Nadja to any individual who is seeking to improve processes, initiatives, teamwork, and motivation within their teams or organisation!
