After 18 years working in finance I know that you only get what you measure. I have the tools to identify meaningful key performance measures for goals and reporting frameworks that enable continous tracking and celebration of results.
Identifying what success means
With the team and it’s stakeholders, we identify what success means. What are the expectations? What are the mid and long term goals?
Defining the most meaningful success measures
Based on these success measures, we identify the most meaningful key performance measures, whether they are existent already or yet to be created. This typically happens in a workshop using creativity techniques.
Creating a reporting and review framework
I then conduct interviews and desk research to identify what reporting is currently available and design with the team or a service provider the necessary reporting framework. It is also crucial to align a review framework that ensures that the team regularly reviews progress versus their goals, can celebrate successes and put in place corrective actions in case progress is off track.
